Excellent news! I still remember how a friend of mine introduced me to microfinancing in 2006. Right from the start I was very impressed by the concepts and especially by the positive results. So it is exciting to see that SAP/SDN gets involved in this space. It will be interesting to see what kind of role the community can play in the development of the MicroFit platform or of any platform in general. Especially when the development can not be done in a traditional open source way. However I am sure that the community could always helpout with little things like testing, documentation or even translations. Looking forward to the next steps! cheers Thomas
