David, I looks for the readme everywhere in the folder/subfolders, but all 3 of them are either for registry cleanup or MaxDB stuffs. None talks about setting up or installation. Make sure to read everything, and click the small "next" link at the bottom to move to the next section - you will go through "Welcome", "What to expect", "System Requirements", "License", "Installation/ Uninstallation", and "Getting Started". Make sure to read system requirements, especially the part about DHCP server or MS Loopback adapter. Then is that is all right, read point 9 under "Installation/ Uninstallation". The "Getting Started" section will explain exactly how to set up the SAPGui. Have you been able to start your SAP server using the MMC console? Are all the nodes green? I’m now focusing on the MMC console, a little confusion: neither colour green nor red, but instead I see blue & grey. I’ve tried to start the SAP server as you advised . But there’s a roadblock: from the context menu to when I try to start (or logon), it bombed out since invalid user/password. I’ve used several combinations: 1- the master user/password when installing 2- bcuser/minisap 3- SAP*/PASS Is there anyway to reset the password or something ? David !
