Subject: BUPA MS Exchange Contacts into SAP CRM
Date: 2005-08-19 06:45:55
From: Pablo Gomez  Business Card

Dear Gregor,

After following almost all steps, when I reached the step that I have to create a program to check the content of the the table MBMANDTSTORE I realized that this table doesn´t have any record with the key you mentioned GW_EMP_SITE_WRITE. Is that a mandatory key?? So, do you have any idea what step I missed or what I could have done wrong???

I´m trying to do that when a BUPA add a Contact in their own contacts with an specified category (SAP CRM Categories) it goes to SAP CRM and also to a specify Public Folder, but the only feature that I could do is when the contact is added directly in the Public Folder, this contact go to SAP and viceversa.

We have SAP CRM 4.0, MapBox SP09, Groupware Connector 2.1, SAP JE22 620.

I will really apreciate your help!!

Regards,
Pablo

    Hello Pablo,

the GW_EMP_SITE_WRITE in table MBMANDTSTORE is the connection between CRM and the Groupware. Please try to do this:

-Start transaction SMOEAC, click on Press Shift + F5 to create a new extract. Click on “Insert Sites” and choose the Site “sBDoc Groupware Customizing”. Expand the tree and then double click on “E-Mail Information for Groupware”. Click on “Complete”. Click on “Start Extract”. By clicking on “Start Extract” you get a message to leave the transaction. When the extraction has finished start again the program Z_GW_SITEWRITE and check the XML again.

    Hope it helps.

    Regards
    Gregor

Sorry but I added a wrong contact category. This contact should be only a CRM_BP Natural Person.

              Dear Gregor,

If I add a Contact in SAP it appears in the Contacts CRM Public Folder I´ve created, the problem I have is only when I want to sync Contacts from Groupware to SAP. The Appointments items works fine.

              Regards,
              Pablo

                Hello Gregor,

Could you pls clarify few funtional views.
Is it possible to bring personal contacts of an user from outlook inbox to CRM 4.0. Does we have to maintain them as Business Partners or external-contacts. Can these contacts still be maintained at personal level of user.

In our implementation, we want to keep CRM and Outlook insync on emails also. Does CRM supports this functionality

                Regards,

                Peter
