Custom Attributes in UWL
UWL provides standard item attributes like Subject, From, Sent Date, Priority etc., that can be used as attributes for defining views. Sometimes there may be business requirement to show additional business specific attributes also in the UWL table. We can display values for these custom attributes in the UWL, by customizing the standard UWL XML file.
This blog would explain in detail how to add columns for custom attributes in UWL View, and how to fetch values for those custom attributes.

Id like to introduce why Business Prototyping works and how it works in terms of bringing customers / orgainzation upto next level; based on my experiences in the Value Prototyping / Center of Excellence, SAP

Based on a game of '20 Questions', an attempt is made to clarify SAP's intentions regarding this innovative technology. I've even left a few questions open for others to join in the game.

PI collaboration and workflow interaction as future trend
Workflow will integrate transactions, interfaces and people inside and outside of the company to overall business processes. This is the real new application in the next decade and you will find no other strong platform than the SAP combination of ERP, Workflow, Process Integration and human interaction with this level of integration. The sum of all these components and the art of mastering cllaboration processes makes the new IT architecture for the next decade.

BPM in Ten Years? My Best Shot
At SAP TechEd 2009 Vienna, I met Chris Horak, who told me that he wondered what the future of Business Process Management might look like: What will the successors of todays BPM and ERP software in 10 or 15 years look like? I took up the challenge and gave the matter some thought. Here's my best shot at it.

ABAPers, Should You Jump the CE train?
SAP NetWeaver Composition Environment is advancing, but is the market ready for you, dear fellow ABAPer, to jump the CE train? In this blog, I share my idle and baseless speculations about future adoption of the platform, which skill-increasing investments might work, and how to get started with CE.

MSS: Delegation....the final frontier?
Delegation (also known to some as substitution) seems to be one of those last unexplored frontiers for SAP in the area of self-services. However, it comes up in almost every MSS project. The obvious question then is "why has SAP not provided a standard solution?"
