From Twitterville to Ghosttown are social media here to stay? (Part 1)
The Web of Social, the web of Twitters, Facebooks and blogs took a turn recently. On the one side, on the side of numbers, hundreds of millions of people are in Twitter and Facebook and LinkedIn, on the other side, large companies are just starting to think, if this could be of any value. To answer the second question first, most of the (large) companies I know (and since this is SAP world, most of the companies in this ecosystem are big) are more than reluctant .

Of little kids and improbability: Living Web 2.0 Experience
The question that I have for my presentation at the SDN Community Day in Bonn is about the key goal: Can you measure the value of using Web 2.0, can you put a price tag on Web 2.0 projects, on Blogs, Wikis and Twitters, to come to a more solid discussions for projects inside enterprises? Or is the Web 2.0 constantly change, something that Mark Yolton has called TLE: The Living Enterprise?

Put a price tag on Enterprise Web 2.0 !
This is in preparation for the Web 2.0 track for the sdn Community Day in Bonn 2010.
When you think about basic reasons for companies, to engage in Web 2.0 technologies, you must be able to put a price tag on projects and ideas. Only measurable results will companies lead to the point, where they will embrace Web 2.0 strategies.

Café Innovation Focusing on Process First now a little easier with incentives for innovation!
As organizations commence their transformation to a Business Process Enterprise© in order to succeed in their enterprise SOA journey, they will need to establish a culture of process first. This is now supported by additional avenues of technology solutions that encourage you to not limit your process requirements only because there isnt an easy out-of-the-box way to deliver on them technologically.

Café Innovation Accountants are Second Lifers now!
Organizations should take notice of the fact that conservative professions are actively embracing emerging trends that are based on people-centric use of technology. This is essential in preparing the organization to take advantage of Enterprise SOA and Web 2.0 capabilities.

Café Innovation Collaborative Communities must necessarily extend beyond your (fire)walls
In a fast-evolving environment where technology is increasingly people-centric, the emphasis on collaborative communities must be given its due if an organization is to succeed in doing Business Beyond Boundaries.
