Culture Jamming SAP
Jonathan Becher recently quoted Peter Drucker: "Culture eats strategy for breakfast!". I realized that one of the greatest things the SAP Mentors do is jam SAP culture. They nudge us to be more open, sharing, collaborating, co-innovative and fun.

SAP Train Race - Day 1
The sun is setting on the SAP Train Challenge here in Paris and it's been an exciting and eventful first day. - The morning started with the 12 teams gathering for an informal meet and greet over breakfast and coffee before we got down to work configuring systems in order to connect to the Gateway servers...
The first training session of the day focused on the creation of NetWeaver Gateway services and was presented by SAP's own Jeff Gebo. It was followed by best practices from race sponsors Microsoft and Adobe on how to best consume those service in their native client environments, including Adobe FlashBuilder, Windows Phone 7, Windows Azure & Microsoft Kinect. All three interactive sessions provided plenty of opportunity for great feedback and questions.
A little after 5PM the training concluded and Somya Kapoor kicked off the next phase of the event by issuing the SAP Train Race challenge. The excitement in the classroom was palpable as teams were noticeably anxious to start developing their winning solutions.
Social Media channels were abuzz all day with over 51,000 Twitter impressions generated by the #SAPTrainRace Twitter tag in the last 24hrs alone. Thank you to top Tweeters: @paulabrahamson, @_jaws_, @rakdube, @lhz_it, @itelligence_de, @r0b3r70nl, & @mark_kelsall.
In addition, multiple blogs documenting the event, including some from race participants Owen Pettiford (Comprise IT) and the dynamic team from iTelligence. A special thank you also goes out to Robert Lewandowski for the beautifully artistic Facebook photos of the host city! http://www.facebook.com/spintext.
We look forward to tomorrow when participants have the opportunity to get hands-on with the technology as teams spend the day working alongside mentors from SAP, Microsoft, and Adobe to develop their POC.
Visit our Facebook page to see some more photos of the event.

What Does it Mean to Run Better at SAPPHIRE NOW from Madrid?
By now, most of you have experienced SAPs rockin Run Better television ad campaign, a succession of high-profile brands doing what they do best set to the strains of Do It from The Mooney Suzuki. I love the commercial because its an in-your-face reminder that brands do matter, will always remain a part of our lives, and by the way, the biggest, boldest brands on the planet run better with SAP. But can SAPs glitzy TV commercial back its run better claims? As the Run Better Social Media Ambassador for SAPPHIRE NOW Madrid, Im here to answer that question, starting with this blog.

What's trending at any #SAP event: Can #hana compute the answer?
Sometimes a wild thought can trend, there is no barriers to how wild you can think, this blog focuses on how you can leverage #HANA to compute and display whats trending at any SAP event, dont go by my UI and dashboard, there are better UI designers inside SAP, if someone can buy this thought, implementation is just yards away.
The buzz words are #social #socialbiz #SN and the hashtags are #sapteched #sapphirenow #sapwt #hana #mobility we need to mine out those important event driven tweets to help folks understand whats trending
