Paul is a Research Associate in SAP Research Center, Sophia Antipolis FRANCE since November, 2006. He is doing his PhD jointly between SAP Research Security & Trust and University Claude Bernard of Lyon on Security Engineering using Security Patterns in the context of the EU funded project SERENITY. Paul lead and contributed to the development of the eHealth prototype presented at Information and Communication Technology 2008 in Lyon. He authored various international conference and journal publications in addition to several patents.

Enforcing Security in Smart Homes using Security Patterns
Tenants' top priority is the feeling of living safely and securely in their traditional as well as smart homes. While walls provided the right for privacy in traditional homes, providing privacy in smart homes need to be addressed on a stronger footing! In this blog entry we present a socio-technical security solution, captured as security pattern, for providing privacy in smart homes as part of a telemedicine prototype presented at the Information Communication Technology and published in the International Journal on Smart Homes. May. 25, 2009
