Automating Unstructured Decision Processes with Dynamic Enterprise Mashups
The information worker of the 21th century is facing with various decision processes where he/ she has to react on ad-hoc and unexpected events. Theses processes are unstructured meaning it is not possible to model them in advance by traditional IT systems. Our concept of dynamic enterprise mashups overcomes this challenge by integrating the peer production principle into the composition of individual applications. Based on the actual user context (social and environment), it automatically recommends relevant information-sentive services to react immediately on an event. Neither you have to switch between different applications nor you have to search for a business transaction. The result is the automation of unstructured decision processes leading to a new phase of increased user productivity. Jan. 11, 2010
