Gamifying the SAP Supplier Performance Scorecard : a thought process use case: but wasn’t taken: Cant swim the #river for a Snazzy UI
This was my first #Innojamlv and am a complete business and SAP Functional expert very little technical expertise, but I have great minds in my team, handicapped on #River, we got some help from the experts and are on our way to get a kind of working demo We had 2 use cases, the one that I have articulated below here is what was “discarded” by the team as too complicated and too much procurement, but I don’t mind that, but I thought if anyone else reading the use case thought if this could be gamified in the #SAP enterprise, any takers? Any suggestions? Even Greg's @gpmyers blog killed a lot of fear for those that think #innojam is only for the techies  Sep. 12, 2011

The Social Networking DNA for Students and University Alliances
"Catch them young and see them grow" is the crux of my post and its completely leaning towards highlighting Social Networking and Social Media as an enabler for Students, Teachers and University alliances to go mainstream using the powerful Social Media Platforms. When something becomes popular and has a great outreach, there has to be a way to tap the most of it and draw parallels into our areas. When the corporate world is seeing huge success and revolution in the way businesses are being done today with the help of the web and Social media, why not use these platforms to help “our students, our future” on-board these channels, become savvy witty and approach the corporate world when they are ready with a greater intellect. Aug. 10, 2011

How Social Networking has transformed my Procurement thinking

The Blog is a story-line of my journey from the time I took the shot of the Social Networking pill to get the wilder side of my Procurement thoughts into play. I still continue to do what I do best i.e. implement SAP’s Procurement portfolio of solutions. So read more on what I have gained in-terms of tangible experience. Jul. 14, 2011

Introducing an SRM Consultant to terms like Sustainability and Carbon Footprint - part 4
Hello Folks, hope you guys enjoyed my last post on the Go Green stamps and the initiatives of USPS, hope some of you even got your hands on one of those collector stamps that indicate the way we need to treat mother earth, starting with some simple tips from home. This times post is more Procurement specific and will talk around the areas of carbon footprint that are impacted by Purchase Orders and Contracts. If we weigh the odds, procurement transactions lean mainly towards these 2 business objects that drive most of the enterprise supply chain processes When I talk about Purchase Order, keep in perspective that am also referring to all types of orders like STO, Scheduling agreement, Distribution order, Sales Order. Note some companies have automated the entire ordering and receiving processes and some still follow the traditional techniques. Most of you already know what am covering in today’s Blog, you would have already got a glimpse of where the discussion is heading. In today’s Blog, we will specifically address only the Business Object: Purchase Order In the next Blog, we will discuss the Carbon Footprint reduction with best practices in the Contract Management space addressing the Business Object: Contracts (this will cover all categories of contracts, Purchase, Sales, Real-estate: all enterprise wide related contracts) Jul. 13, 2011

Introducing an SRM Consultant to terms like Sustainability and Carbon Footprint - part 3
Sustainable folks :) I thought it would be better to have the 3rd blog on this topic to be another generic one, just like the first blog of this series. Though I had promised for result oriented SAP Procurement consultants, that follow-on blogs would focus on each business object, but I thought out that a "fun de-tour" would actually bring us to the social side before part 4 on Purchase Orders and Contracts kick-in. May. 21, 2011
