Sören joined SAP in 2006 and has worked on the SAP Netweaver BPM ("Galaxy") product since its early days. He is affected with its runtime architecture, process lifecycle management, and mapping rules of BPMN models into the executable runtime format. In 2008/2009, Sören has participated in a SAP Research fellowship program where he was working on the conceptual foundations of BPM suites, process extensibility, and BPM requirements analysis.
