Eric is currently a Director of Imagineering SAP's Emerging Solutions business unit, where he oversees new initiatives. He led the user experience effort for Duet and defined key pieces for SAP's Composite Application behaviour.

Before coming to SAP Eric worked in Hollywood as a multi-media director for entertainment products. Eric's back ground includes both an undergraduate degree in Physics and graduate school in Architecture at University of British Columbia, Canada.

Event: Web 2.0 for the Enterprise on Nov. 30
SAP is sponsoring a small conference about Web 2.0 in the Enterprise in Palo Alto on November 30 called "Challenge-The-Expert - Web 2.0: Where are the Opportunities in the Enterprise Space?." The idea is to bring together innovators in Web 2.0 and Enterprise software to discuss opportunities in the Enterprise space. I've been to a few of these events facilitated by the World Internet Center and they've been very interesting. If their past events are any indication, I suggest going.
