You know this amazing SAP Expert, who knows his/her stuff, is an excellent communicator and helps out whenever needed in the community. You think to yourself: Why isn't (s)he an SAP Mentor. It is pretty straight forward what an SAP Mentor should bring to the table:
Still not sure? Check out the list of SAP Mentors. If you hung around SDN and BPX for a while you will recognize some of them. You may want to check out the ones that you don't recognize. Chances are good that you can learn a thing or two from them. Follow their blogs, articles, and forum posts. Some of them are the heart of the SAP Community Day sessions the day before TechEd. Tomorrow Wednesday the 2nd of July we are having the first in a series of Webinars where these sessions are introduced: SAP Mentor Dream Team SDN Day Hands-On Sessions. While doing all that , you may have come up with additional names that should be considered to be an SAP Mentor. Please nominate them today, as this page is only open for one week. At midnight Pacific Time on Tuesday the 8th of July the nomination link will not work anymore. What are the benefits of being an SAP Mentor? Unfortunately we have limited resources and can't make everyone an SAP Mentor, but we guarantee that we will seriously consider every nomination. Looking forward hear and to get to know soon some unsung heroes of the community. P.S. Yes, you can nominate yourself. There are rare cases where people do exceptional work and no one notice, just make sure to make a good case for you. To get nominated by someone else counts more.
