It was early last year when Dipankar and I were approached by SAP Press to author a book on SAP MII 12.0.

From there, it has been a very enriching journey for both of us as we discovered that we had a lot more to learn, both about SAP MII as well as the art of writing a book.

Finally, the book is more or less in its final stages and is available for pre-order from the SAP Press website.

    Hi Abesh,


    I had pre ordered the book from SAP PRess and Just received a . The first impression wrt the Contents & Coverage of the book looks good.


    Congratulations to you and Dipankar Saha on this achievement. Writing a book on a topic won which there has been no book written earlier is a great feat on its own.


    Will be spending more time with the book today evening.
    My Expectations from this book:
    1. A good intermediate to Expert developer/ BA / Architect guidance.
    2. Error Handling - Best practices
    3. Reference book for the current implementation I am doing with a customer ļ.


    Will keep you updated with my comments on the book.

    I've followed with interest Dipankar's blogs and insights around composites. I know Abesh as a really smart technologist. Great to see you both collaboratively engaged in a topic that should not only provide technology guidance but also business content. A few years back I heard a SAP customer who is an IT director (large chemical company) describe how his business manufacturing guys led IT by their enterprising use of MII and changed the paradigm of business process improvements that had previously been IT led (rather than business driven). I hope you can share some of the business cases in the book and maybe even some snippets of content here as well as I think the BPX community would really benefit from that and might enjoy getting a sneak peak. Of course that won't replace purchasing a copy, but just expressing my wishful thinking...
