SAP TechTour made a stop in Atlanta during the ASUG Georgia chapter meeting on Friday, April 24, 2009. The meeting was hosted by IBM, who presented a great overview of the history and accomplishments of SAP at IBM and the how IBM went about implementing SAP to transform its supply chain yielding many tangible and intangible benefits.

SAP TechTour and Communities topics presented at this event were the following:

  •  Business Process Management by Nick Holshauser
  • Joined Roadmap - SAP NetWeaver BI and Business Objects by Katie Beaver
  • Update on SAP NetWeaver Master Data Management by Klaus David
  • Enterprise Information Management (EIM) for SAP Environments by Klaus David
  • SAP Communities by Siva Darivemula
  • Virtual SAP TechEd by Siva Darivemula

With many participants from major Atlanta area employers such as Home Depot, Coca-Cola, Delta Air Lines, Newell Rubbermaid, UPS and many others, the event presented many educational and business networking opportunities for the participants including several compelling demonstrations from vendors.

At SAP, we are pleased with our experience and partnership with ASUG and the Georgia chapter. We look forward similar successful collaboration in the future.

Ahhhh I remember this fondly....because I couldn't go! Our first go-live of this project was that day (and weekend), so there was no chance to get away and attend. I am looking forward to hearing all about it though!
