We made it to the top!  And we have all of you to thank for it.

Have you noticed the change in color scheme of our University Alliances Community (UAC) pages? That forest green bar at the top is a visual indicator that the UAC now sits parallel to the SDN, BPX, BOC and Ecohub communities in the top-tier SAP Community Network (SCN) navigation bar.  Prior to this, we were placed a little less predominantly on the second line.  And as a second-line selection, the familiar yellow color bar at the top of our pages had us blending into the overall SCN environment.

With the promotion to top-tier SCN navigation, we have our unique forest green color identifying UAC, making it easier for SCN members to recognize when they are participating in our specific community. This also adds a technical benefit providing external new users with an easier way to locate us.  We will soon be able to use www.uac.sap.com along with the current URL http://uac.sap.com to enter our community.

The decision to approve UAC to stand as a top-tier community was made in recognition of:

  • the fast growth of registered members to UAC,
  • the quality of contributions that UAC members are making to all SAP customer- and partner- centered professional communities, and
  • the continuous improvements - adoption of technical features and additions to community content - made by the extended SAP University Alliances team, which includes the colleagues of our University Competence Centers and Academic Competence Centers.

The final approval was given by Mark Yolton, Senior Vice President, and Marco ten Vaanholt, Vice President, of the SAP Community Network, Global Ecosystem and Partners Group, together with Don Bulmer, Vice President of Industry & Influencer Relations, SAP Global Communications.

If you have registered as a member of UAC (please make sure to select that you agree to also receive our UAC Newsletter communications), then your membership has been automatically upgraded to the top-tier. If you have not yet registered, please consider taking a moment to enter your information or update your existing profile.

Thank you to all of you highly engaged and selflessly contributing members of UAC for making this promotion to the top-tier possible.
