The TAS³ Integrated Project (Trusted Architecture for Securely Shared Services) aims to have a European- wide impact on services based upon personal information, which is typically generated over a human lifetime and therefore is collected & stored at distributed locations and used in a multitude of business processes. The personal information that will be processed and managed can consist of any type of information that is owned by or refers to people. This implies that the new architecture is dependable, robust, cost-effective and reliable. The proposed architecture will also be generic and cross-domain applicable. TAS3 will focus on an instantiation of this architecture in the employability and e-health sectors. The project will allow users and service providers in these two sectors to manage the lifelong generated personal employability and e-health information of the individuals involved.The TAS³ Consortium brings together several global companies (e.g Oracle) and SMEs, different business and governmental environments, key players in the European employability and eHealth and a multidisciplinary but complementary array of academic institutions (e.g Karlsurhe, Leuven, Kent , etc). Below is an overview of the addressed topics and work packages of the project.

 

TAS³ will advance the Science & Technology in several sub-topical area’s but at the same time will integrate the different components (mostly being developed in their own work package) into one dependable Trust & Security Architecture which in the end intends to offer a safe and dependable business processes environment for exchanging personal identifiable information.

The goal of TAS³ is to demonstrate that its architecture can deal with the following challenges in a generic and scalable way.

1. User & Service Provider Authentication & Credential management
2. Establishing Trust between Users, Information Repositories and Service Providers
3. Data Protection Policies
4. Transparency of Business Processes
5. Demonstrator Challenges  

Our team in SAP Research France (Sophia-Antipolis) is mainly involved in the tasks describe below:

• Requirements analysis : analyse of the overall requirements for the end2end trust architecture for service based on the exchange personal data.
• Framework, Architecture and Semantics: risk analysis and user centricity. 
• Information protection: translate the trust policy requirements with information repositories.  
• Trust Policy Management: creation of novel measures of trust.       
• Quality Measures and Trustworthiness: ensure coordinated derivation of KPIs for trust evaluation.
• Dissemination, Exploitation and Training: support TAS3 events and TAS3 associated partners.
• Overall Integration: quality control over the integration process.
• Project Management: Scientific & Technical Coordination of the project.
