We all just finished a great TechED in Phoenix and some of us will go to TechED Vienna. For those customers interested in SAP BusinessObjects BI Solutions I would like to highlight some of my session:
On Tuesday I will start slowy with 2 Expert Networking Session on the topic of Best Practices with BusinessObjects BI Tools. Join me on
On Wednesday I will start of with the session
BI 160 - Introduction to BusinessObjects from 8:30 - 10:30 am.
This session was very well received in Phoenix and provides an overview with Hands-On for Crystal Reports, Web Intelligence, Xcelsius, and SAP BusinessObjects Explorer - and all that in 2 hours.
After this session I will be available in the community clubhouse for any kind of questions our customer might have around the BusinessObjects BI offering.
Wednesday afternoon we continue with a great 2 hour Hands On session on Crystal Reports
BI 262 - Getting the most out of Crystal Reports from 5:00 - 7:00 pm
On Thursday morning we repeat the Introduction to BusinessObjects from 8:30 to 10:30 am and continue then with two great session about Embedded Analytics for SAP BusinessSuite customers, where we show some of the great upcoming integrations of BusinessObjects BI tools with the SAP BusinessSuite applications.
BI 114 Integrated Analytics with SAP BusinessObjects from 2:15 - 3:15 pm
BI 116 Embedded Analytics for BusinessSuite customers from 5:00 to 7:00 pm

Hi Ingo, Specifically to address Webi performance issues against SAP BI, my company is upgrading our corporate Netweaver BI 7 to 701 SP5 with XI 3.1 SP2, currently in user testing in Sandbox. Is there a hotfix available for XI 3.1 SP2 itself, & for SAP IK before GA? Thanks, Doug Grant, Haworth Inc.- Latest Hotfixes Available for 3.0 SP2

Hi,
you are on SP2 at this point and the next fixpack would be 2.1.
"hot fixes" are released for specific cases to specific customers.

Thanks for that Ingo. How do customers review the content of Hotfixes for BOBJ? For example, in document "Business Objects XI 3.1 Service Pack 2 Release Notes", page 55, states "To resolve this problem, install the patch "HotFix for BOE XI 3.1 ServicePack 2" but no tech document reference or link is given. How do customers find documentation on Hotfixes - are they on service.sap.com/notes?- Latest Hotfixes Available for 3.0 SP2

Hi,
as mentioned before Hotfixes are only released based on actual customer support cases to solve a specific issue.
