Recently I was at the SAP Business Objects User Group Conference and did a session on the basics of SAP for Business Objects experts.  I wanted to do this session because, as someone with a background in SAP, it  has been a challenge to know where to start in learning Business Objects - understanding where my current skills best match with BO capabilities.   Since Business Objects folks could feel the same way, it seemed like some basic SAP information might be helpful!  

It was great to be at the conference and to meet some BO gurus.  One of the folks I met was Dave Rathbun who has a great blog on Business Objects.  Dave is also an SAP mentor and said the session on SAP for Business Objects experts was helpful, so the decision was made to break up the presentation into sections and deliver it as elearning on SCN.

    We've spent the last year learning all this stuff(which wasn't easy) and you really summarized it very well. Very impressive and great for new hires/co-ops in our company that are new to either SAP or BOBJ or both.

    Ginger - great session at the GBN Conference. Unfortunately I had to leave early to attend one of the Influence Council sessions, but good to see the presentation here! This is a much-needed 101 course for BusinessObjects folks who don't know anything (or very little) about SAP offerings.
