    Though I do adore the concept of utilizing the power of Web2.0 philosophy in ERP applications, the logic of Kona is not quite clear to me.
    It is an on-demand software, meaning it is hosted by SAP and customers use it whenever they need. On the other hand, BI data is stored in the customer database. How does Kona get data from a remote DB, on demand?

      Hi Adam - thanks for your question. I won't comment on Kona itself since it's in pre-beta, but this previous post outlines two general options for updating data in our currently available on-demand BI applications:
