This sample shows how webElements controls can be "staged" to cascade from the highest hierarchy level to the lowest level.

You can download the sample here.

This technique can be useful if you are trying to use the webElements DCP functions but receive a string length or array limit error.

Notes on using these samples

*************************

1 These sample reports have been configured to work in a BusinessObjects XI 3.0 (includes XI 3.1) Java environment. If you wish to change this environment (e.g. to BusinessObjects Enterprise XI R2 or to the .Net platform) please review the User Guide, Requirements Section for more information.

2 You should be familiar with the webElements 2.45 function library in order to customize these reports.

3 You should be familiar with opendocument syntax in order to customize these reports.

4 Your Enterprise system must have pass-through html activated. See the webElements Users Guide for more information.

5 These techniques will only work in HTML viewers and will not work in Active X or in the Crystal Reports designer regular preview.

6 Publish these reports to your Enterprise environment without the .rpt extension in the name.

7 These reports have saved data and therefore cannot be refreshed unless you have the xtreme 11.5 sample database.
