Hi all!

Quick update since the last one - I would complete all the 10 series in December. We'll move on 720 ;-)

(Again and again  - I suggest to take a closer look at the 1 hour recorded session if you are interested in the demo.)

Remark: The contents require beginner level knowledge of NW BPM on 7.1 Ehp1.

Scenario 6:  Timer notification

Solution

Another classic use case. This is the one of typical usecases of "Boundary Event" in BPMN.

First off you need to define Boundary Event with "CompletionDeadlineIsNonCriticalException".

Either Activity or Task can be configured by "time & date".

You would need to find or implement the web service which triggers email - this could be implemented by simple JavaMail API.

That's the end of the blog today. Feel free to drop your insight for

 - "Very common workflow use cases" but you don't know how to implement them with NW BPM.

Move on to the next blog!
