Just a short post to let everyone know that a new SCN trial credential and password for SAP Interactive Forms by Adobe is up. The credential file is good through April 2010.

In order to use SAP Interactive Forms by Adobe with the SAP NetWeaver Developer Edition or Trial Version, you must install this credential file and activate it using a unique password. If  you intend to use it in a production environment you need to obtain a credential from SAP, this credential is unique to every company. To obtain your Reader Rights Credential, see SAP Note 736902.

You only need a Reader Rights Credential (usage rights credential) if you want to create interactive forms.

In case you wonder why you need such a credential file, the following passage from the ADS configuration guide explains it well:

While Adobe Reader allows users to view PDF documents, many advanced capabilities such as applying digital signatures and saving documents are not allowed. PDF documents can, however, include usage rights that enable users to fill in forms, add comments, and sign documents using Adobe Reader. These usage rights, also called Reader Rights, allow Adobe Reader to perform tasks that normally require Acrobat Standard or Acrobat Professional.
