We're opening a new area on SDN, and it's for you if you're a BI Content Developer.

The new Business Intelligence Content area provides lots of resources for anyone implementing, upgrading, or developing BI Content.  There you'll find white papers, blogs, guidelines documents, and more.

Are you an SAP customer who has already developed and deployed your own BI Content?   If so, we'd like to hear from you.  We would be happy to feature your blog or article - here's an opportunity for you to share your insights and results with a broad community.  To create your own blog, see the  steps to take.  If you have any further questions, please contact  me at michaela.pastor@sap.com.

Are you a partner that sells BI Content you developed yourself?  We've also opened a special page on SAP NetWeaver BI Business Content Development by Partners and Customers.   It's the perfect place to write about your experiences and successes.

Both pages offer a collection of useful resources you can use when developing your own BI Content.    Check them out, then contribute!

    Dear Michaela,

Nice to see your blog. I would like to understand something related to this...

Is this some sort of initiative to welcome BI contents developed by other people and make it as a standard BI Content and make it a standard deliverable? This can ideally bring in lots of BI Contents and hence cover more scenarios. I dont know if my point makes any sense ? Pls. clarify.

    Thanks dear.

      Dear Sriee,

At this point in time we do not plan to integrate BI Content developed by customers or partner to the standard BI Content delivery and support.
The intention is, to give a platform were nonSAP developed BI content can be introduced and experiences can be shared.

However, if valuable, integratable BI Content is developed by customers or partners, this will be considered.

I hope this clarifies your question.
      Best Regards,
      Michaela
