Café Innovation How about an SAP App store?
In this age of people-centric technology, the iPhone revolution has brought about new business models and innovative ways in which people seek to conduct routine business. Fueling this is the availability of an increasing number of apps that are a result of a community-driven approach to make the mobile experience more meaningful. Enterprise application of this approach is picking up. Possibly, it is only a matter of time before we see a plethora of apps serving those that have enterprise needs including those serviced by SAP functionality.

Video Shoot: Sue Martin at SAP TechEd on SAP Certification Changes
During SAP TechEd Phoenix, I shot a couple of live flipcam videos with Sue Martin, Global Director of SAP Certification. During the videos, we talked informally about the changes underway within SAP Education. We discussed the perception of SAP certification as largely unchanged through the years and why that is no longer true.

Café Innovation SAP customers seek new ways to improve return on their SAP investment
Innovation in how organizations support their SAP investment is in many ways just as important as how they innovate with SAP at the center of their technology investments. The role of a community-based approach should be considered as also the importance of the BPXer. Organizations are beginning to look at new models emerging within the SAP ecosystem that rely on a community-based approach and look to lower the TCO (financial and environmental) for their technology investments.

SAP Community Bio: Your Connection Between SCN and LinkedIn
Well, it has finally happened. SAP and LinkedIn have just launched their FIRST community application: the SAP Community Bio. The SAP Community Bio is a LinkedIn application that you install into your LinkedIn profile, and it pulls data from your SCN business card. In particular, it pulls: SCN membership status which is linked back to your SCN business card, total number of points, areas of expertise, active contributor status, SAP Mentor status, and links to the most recent blogs on SCN.
