Café Innovation – How about an SAP App store?
In this age of people-centric technology, the iPhone revolution has brought about new business models and innovative ways in which people seek to conduct routine business. Fueling this is the availability of an increasing number of “apps” that are a result of a community-driven approach to make the mobile experience more meaningful. Enterprise application of this approach is picking up. Possibly, it is only a matter of time before we see a plethora of “apps” serving those that have enterprise needs – including those serviced by SAP functionality. Puneet K. The one with the generic Workflow UI

How to set up Generic Workflow Handling in Alloy
Alloy allows you to flexibly expose Decision Workflows onto your Lotus Notes client. Each Decision Workflow step can have its individual Notes Form on the client side to visualize the related information and to offer the available decision options to the end-user. In some other cases you might rather look for a generic Workflow handling on the Notes/Domino side. And that's what this blog is about. The one with the Alloy Request Trigger
Alloy uses several queues (on both sides SAP and IBM) to guarantee message delivery. However some of those queues have a scheduled job that monitors and processes items from within the queue at certain time points. Especially during test phases these scheduled jobs could cost you time, you could better spend with actual testing. Café Innovation – Social networking, revolutions, and how to approach innovation
Innovation that is not targeted to resolve known business problems is likely to not result in lasting business value. Organizations need to keep creativity channeled along their business needs. Use of social networking is rapidly becoming the norm for how people interact on a regular basis and this is assuming revolutionary proportions. Future enterprise solutions should be innovative enough to include the use of social networking tools. Puneet K. Mystery of Filtration in Web Service!
In Business Object, if an operation for finding all attributes on the basis of entry of field values is created. From service browser, user can filter all attributes if at least one of field value is not entered or left blank. This service assumes Querying using WildCard character (*) in the blank field. But when an Application Service is created with an operation which directly use the same operation in that Business Object and is exposed as Web Service. This Web Service can not act as same as BO operation does in case of filtering with at least one of input parameters is left. Instead this returns an empty output. Hence i want to show you how to filter with at least one blank input parameters in Web Service just like BO operation.
