Key messages of TechEd 2009
This year my company decided to visit the TechEd in the USA (again), which gives me the chance now to write about the key messages of the TechEd still before the European and Asian versions. I would like to share our impressions. If you dont have the chance to visit TechEd this year, this blog should give some starting points for further reading, if you are going to visit Vienna, Shanghai or Bangalore, then this short summary can orientate you and help not to miss something really important.

Why SAP chooses Adobe technology on top of their applications.
The best ever additional tools for SAP Enterprise Application development have been created by Adobe. SAP Interactive Forms, Adobe Flash Islands for Web Dynpro, Web Dynpro Flex generated code of Visual Composer, SAP Business Objects xCelsius and SAP Acrobat Connect applications by Adobe are all based on products of the Adobe LiveCycle Enterprise Suite Platform. These tools are optimized to build Online Rich Internet applications and offline desktop application uniformly. This will keep development cost at a minimum. This article will tell the background for building first class Enterprise applications on top of SAP.

Adobe AIR and Flex development on top of SAP NetWeaver
In this weblog I will give you the link to my presentation about Adobe AIR and Flex development on top of SAP NetWeaver at the Adobe MAX 2008 in Milan.
The presentation focused on three ways of connecting Flex and Air applications against SAP:
- Direct connection between SAP and Flex/Air
- Connecting SAP and Flex/Air using data service
- Embedded Flex in SAP

ABAPers, Should You Jump the CE train?
SAP NetWeaver Composition Environment is advancing, but is the market ready for you, dear fellow ABAPer, to jump the CE train? In this blog, I share my idle and baseless speculations about future adoption of the platform, which skill-increasing investments might work, and how to get started with CE.

SAP EcoHub: Discover-Evaluate & now ...BUY
SAP Ecohub introduced new capability to buy solutions, listed on the hub. Initial rollout includes 6 products but it can be argued that it has larger implications in that it opens up a channel for developers to create interesting widgets and applications and offer this to the wider community of customers who could benefit from it.
