HCM Processes & Forms: Data Sharing
During my implementation of a position change process, I had a peculiar issue with data sharing that I would like to share with the SDN community. According to my knowlegde, there is no SAP documentation that covers Data Sharing in an HCM Processes & Forms context and therefore it seems relevant to write this blog in order to help others with Data Sharing related problems. The process involves updating infotype 0000 and 0001 using service SAP_PA in an ECC6 EhP 2 environment. Opportunities for INNOVATION - SAP, HELLO?
What if there were some really, really great ideas on how to dramatically change the SAP ERP application for far greater success in the marketplace? What if it would make a significant change in the usefulness of the application? What if it could be done with almost completely pre-existing functions, functionality, and code that SAP already has but has not done a good job themselves of integrating? A low cost, high benefit, game changing scenario in the ERP application space. What if these changes demonstrated enough benefit to create a compelling case for version upgrades without expiring support as the reason? Some Reasons SAP Projects are Over Budget and Over Time
You're doing everything right. You've got executive support and sponsorship, a solid budget, you've been through a grueling vendor selection process, your scope is reasonable, you're using Solution Manager or following the ASAP methodology, but somehow your project is always in chaos. You're still doing lots of design work as you are ready to start integration testing. Something is wrong and you know it. Where is the problem and why are you headed for a blown budget and timeline? RETAIL FUTURES: The Year of Living Dangerously
It’s not 1982 or 1965. Nope, we have to go back more than 70 years before we lived as dangerously as this. Analysts Show BPM Consulting Faring Better in Economy

Part 5: Enterprise BPM Framework; Six Sigma
Six Sigma is popular today, particularly within large corporations, however the following improvements are essential: 1 Although many different methods and tools are available, there is no generally accepted BPM tooling and BPM governance method for conducting Six Sigma projects. 2 Despite the numerous statistical analysis options, there is no obvious way of accessing the relevant E2E process performance data. 3 It is difficult to integrate the Six Sigma project results within the BPM communication portal and ensure that the success be sustained after the project is completed. By combining the Six Sigma methodology of SAP and BPM, companies can increase speed, quality and sustainability of the (LEAN) Six Sigma projects.
